The Trust Travelscheme has been set up to enable Trust staff to purchase annual season tickets for travel on public transport.
The Trust purchases an annual travel pass on behalf of the applicant and the cost of the travel pass is then deducted in 12 affordable monthly instalments from salary through payroll deduction.
Please ensure that you have fully read the Terms and Conditions before you apply for a Travel Pass.
If you should lose your travel pass please contact us to obtain a replacement (if appplicable)
You will have to pay for a travel ticket, which is non refundable until we can arrange for a re-issue.
It’s easy to collect your pass, just select your collection point on your application form. Your pass will be available to collect around the 19th to the 21st of the month (should the 20th or 21st fall on a weekend then collection will be the Friday before). We do not notify that you pass is available to collect, just pop along to collect.
When it’s time to renew your annual pass simply fill out an application form online. The deadline for receipt of application forms is always 12:00 noon on the 1st of the month. Please note that you do not need to reapply each month.
If you have a Go North East or Arriva pass please retain your current card as this will be upload electronically on to your existing pass for you.
If you wish to return a pass you must notify the Staff Benefits team as soon as possible. You must return your pass by 12:00 noon on the 14th of the month (should the 14th fall on a weekend then the Friday before). A £20 cancellation fee will also apply. Should you wish to return your pass in December please contact our office as the date is brought forward due to early payroll.
